Grades 3-5 Curriculum

The grades 3-5 curriculum is designed to build upon foundational skills and introduce more complex concepts in core academic subjects while promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. The presence of an instructional aide enhances the learning experience by providing additional support and personalized attention to students.

Math and ELA Stations

Implementing small group stations in ELA (English Language Arts) and Math enables us to provide targeted instruction, foster collaboration, and engage students in diverse activities that cater to their individual learning needs. These stations allow teachers and instructional aides to work closely with students, offering personalized support and enrichment. Our small group stations offer the following benefits:

  • Personalized Instruction: Tailored activities meet students’ specific learning levels and needs.
  • Engagement: Varied activities keep students motivated and engaged.
  • Collaboration: Opportunities for peer learning and teamwork.
  • Formative Assessment: Teachers can closely monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Skill Reinforcement: Repeated practice and targeted support help solidify core skills in ELA and Math.
